The Architecture of Time: The Genesis and Trajectory of OURPIERRE

In a fusion of vision and heritage, a group of enterprising founders joined forces to establish OURPIERRE : a brand devoted exclusively to the enduring

value of jewelry that withstands the pressures of time. Rooted in the formative design principles of Dortmund, Germany, the group drew upon the lineage

of co-founder Yesung Lee, whose family championed practicality and minimalism as supreme aesthetic virtues. This pioneering spirit defined the brand’s

significant ambitions from its inception, focusing on the perfection of ‘invisible details’ over fleeting flamboyance.

The inaugural collections of OURPIERRE are realized in Seoul through the authentic Florentine techniques personally mastered by Director Somi Jeong.

This masterful synthesis of German structural rigor and Italian craftsmanship allows the brand to capture the intersection of classical brilliance and

modern sensibility. More than mere adornment, OURPIERRE designs a ‘structure of time’ where an individual’s history and relationships are accumulated,

establishing the brand as a pioneer in redefining jewelry as a material apparatus of legacy.

The design of Ourpierre pursues the intersection of German rational pragmatism and the fluid "emptiness" of Korean sentiment.

We consider the ‘traces of life’ occurring through the process of jewelry living in contact with the body, as the completion of beauty.

Upon the solid aesthetic framework pursued by German design, we add a Korean sensibility that values the harmony between object andcontext,

creating a space for the user’s life to intervene.

The simplified planes, stripped of artificial details, graciously embrace the microscopic wear and scratches from the wearer’s daily life,

reflecting a personal narrative that deepens over time.

Ultimately, the design of Ourpierre is not completed at the moment the product is created, but rather at the very instant when the user’s touch

and time leave their marks behind. This approach, which prioritizes the value of the ‘person’ who will live alongside the jewelry over the object itself,

is the most solid and pure form of permanence as defined by Ourpierre.
